WHAT IS THE FEE FOR A MEDIATION?
RECOURSE is a community mediation organization, committed to providing quality, affordable services.

- The flat fee for mediation sessions conducted in the RECOURSE office is $300 for up to 3 hours.
- Parties usually share the fee: $150 per party
- Sliding scale fees are available upon proof of income
- Low-fee mediations of $50 ($25 per party) available for parties who find the RECOURSE flyer in packets at the Court for Small Claims or Unlawful Detainer, and who wish to mediate before their court date
- Free mediations at court calendars on the day of trial in Small Claims, Short Cause, Unlawful Detainer, Civil Harassment and some Guardianship and family matters referred by the judge.
- Reduced fee of $200 for mediation for various matters when referred by the Judge
- We take credit cards, checks and can work out payment plans to manage your cash flow.
RECOURSE provides skilled mediators who work to empower you to make informed, mutually satisfying decisions.
We also want to empower you to make informed choices in all your decisions, including the cost of your alternatives and how to choose mediation services.
WHAT’S THE FEE FOR OTHER SERVICES?
Training Services
RECOURSE is a leading provider of conflict resolution and mediation skills training. Fees are:
$300 per person for training in Basic Mediation Skills (32 hours/26 MCLE credits)
Price depends on time and number of participants for Customized Conflict Resolution Skills
